What started as an expansion of an accountability group is now one of the most meaningful and sustaining gatherings of men known in the US: CrossTrainers.

How it all began…
In 1979, Dr. Gary Rosberg and Jerry Foster, invited Mike Colby and Tim Vermillion to meet weekly, to encourage one another as young husbands and fathers. Over the next few years these four men continued to meet forming an accountability group that still meets weekly: 41 years later.
Speaking Team
In 1989, Gary and Jerry Foster co-founded CrossTrainers. Each Wednesday since, Gary and a speaking team have been encouraging men in the Des Moines area with the spiritual tools to enhance their relationships with God, their wives, children, church, friends and community.
About Us
The passion for the men of CrossTrainers is to gather the best men in America weekly, to remind one another that we are indeed men of God and need each other, and to spur one another on to live and finish life well.
In 2021, Gary passed the baton of CrossTrainers leadership to the next generation: Frank Accurso and Chris Barr.
